Celebrating ! 🍎✨

From 11 years in the classroom and coaching literacy to leading San Lorenzo Elementary in her 3rd year as principal, Principal Biebelle's leadership is rooted in a deep love for teaching and learning! 📚🌾

Principal Biebelle's background includes 1 year Pre-K, 8 years Kindergarten, 3 years Literacy Coach (High School & Elementary), and now 3rd year as Principal.

She lives on a working cattle ranch in Mimbres with her husband of 20 years and two daughters—who keep the family busy with high school rodeo, athletics, state titles, and academics!

Her fvorite part of the job is eating lunch with students, playing at recess, watching kids learn and laugh, and working alongside a dedicated staff who give their all every single day.

"Students spend a lot of time at school and it should be something they look forward to. I hope it is at San Lorenzo."

🌟 National Principal Month Spotlight: Caesar Alvarez 🌟

Caesar Alvarez serves as Principal of Cobre High School with a passion for students, education, and building a school community where everyone has an opportunity to succeed. His background includes experience in educational leadership, strategic initiatives, community partnerships, and athletics, all of which have shaped his collaborative approach to leadership.

At Cobre High School, Mr. Alvarez is focused on building a strong and sustainable culture centered on collaboration, high expectations, student achievement, and opportunity. He believes meaningful change does not happen because of one individual—it happens when students, staff, families, and the community work together toward a shared purpose.

His passion is creating opportunities for students and helping them recognize what they are capable of achieving, whether their path leads to college, a career, the military, a trade, or another opportunity after graduation. Through strengthening academics, expanding career and technical education, supporting extracurricular programs, and building stronger community partnerships, his goal is to help make Cobre High School a place the entire community can be proud of.

Guided by the belief that Cobre is “Built By Tradition, Committed to Excellence,” Mr. Alvarez hopes to honor the school’s proud history while working collaboratively to build an even stronger future for Cobre students.

It was wonderful seeing the crowd that came out to support our students. The students were having a great time. Lots of smiles and Homecoming mums. It will be a night they will remember for many years.
