🚀🪐 Out of This World House Spirit! ❤️🖤

Last week, Bayard Elementary was bursting with HOUSE PRIDE! 🎉

Our Braves dressed as their home planet by wearing their house colors, and the excitement was contagious! 🌎✨

Students who had not yet been sorted into a house got to participate in a special House Sorting Ceremony! 🧪🌈 Through a fun, hands-on science experiment, students mixed their very own House Formula to reveal which house they would call home!

The energy, cheers, and excitement throughout our school were incredible! ❤️

We are so excited to watch our Braves grow, work together, and show their HOUSE PRIDE all year long!

🏠❤️🖤 4 Houses. 1 Family. ALL BRAVES! 🖤❤️🏠

Pre-K has officially started exploring pumpkins, and we’ve been having so much fun learning hands-on! On Monday, we opened up a pumpkin to investigate what was inside, counted our pumpkin seeds, and even roasted and taste-tested our very own pumpkin seeds! 🎃🌱

Today, our little learners transformed into scientists, putting on their lab coats and safety glasses to conduct a sink-or-float pumpkin experiment! 🥼🥽🧪 We made predictions, tested our ideas, and discovered what happens when we put a pumpkin in water! 💦🎃

Our 5th graders partnered with the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, to spread the D.A.R.E. message at our homecoming parade. Our students enjoyed making space themed posters and tossing candy to the spectators, especially their Bayard schoolmates and families.
