The Santa Clara action committee is holding the Halloween decorated House contest again this yr. The house with the best Halloween Decorations will be picked by action committee members on Oct. 26th. The winner will receive a gift card from the action committee when contacted. Happy decorating.

To celebrate the start of the holiday season Santa Clara is hosting an old fashion Holiday this year. On Dec. 5th there will be food vendors, arts and crafts, music and Santa at the Mercado on Ft Bayard St (right next to the bike park) from 10 am to 8 pm. The Lighted Parade will travel from Ft Bayard through Santa Clara and right past the Mercado too. The parade will run 6 to 8 pm. Santa will be at the Mercado to greet the kids , times TBD. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A FLOAT IN THE PARADE OR TO BE A VENDOR AT THE MERCADO CALL SANTA CLARA CITY HALL 585 537 2443 TO SIGN UP. ALL ENTRIES ARE FREE. The Tamal Fiesta is coming up fast. If you would like to be a vendor the applications are waiting for you at Santa Clara city hall. 575 537 2443. The tamal fiesta is Saturday Nov. 7th , 10 to 4 pm. At Ft Bayard hope to see everyone there.

Tomorrow is the day!! Come on out to Santa Clara for the benefit car show, food, vendors and entertainment. Viola Stone Park, right next to the Splash Park and next to El Calibre Cafe.
