Today was my last day at Ironworkers Local 17. For nearly two decades, this union has been home. I built my career with the Ironworkers, and they will always be a part of me. My job for the next 158 days will be to flip this district and bring working-class values and real representation to Ohio's 7th District.

What a lovely recognition from our city council and Mayor to Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne!

City officials, during a May 4 City Council meeting, presented a certificate of appreciation to Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne, who grew up in Bay Village.

Running for office isn’t easy, but it matters. Big time.

We want to thank every candidate who stepped up to run and represent our communities, particularly all candidates running for US Congress in District 7. Putting your name on the ballot takes courage, commitment, and a willingness to serve, and our democracy is stronger because of it.

Primaries play a critical role in that process. They give voters the power to choose who will carry forward our shared values and represent our districts. It’s how we ensure new voices are heard, ideas are debated, and leadership is earned. Thank you for giving us all the opportunity to listen and cast our votes accordingly.

At the end of it all, it’s up to the voters, and that’s exactly how it should be.
