Summer Reading 2026 is launched. Unearth a Story.

Join Word Bird and friend as we launch our 2026 Summer Reading program at Story Time today, May 26th, 10:00am in the Children’s Room. Reading logs can be picked up and filled out beginning today as well.

Beginning next week, June 2nd, we will offer both 10:00 am programming at the library and 1:00 pm programming at the Civic Center.

Baldwin EMC recently awarded the Bay Minette Public Library with a $5,000 grant for our Dolly Parton's Imagination Library! This program provides a book per month for children throughout Baldwin County from birth to their fifth birthday. Visit bayminettepubliclibrary.org for more information.

Thanks to a grant from the Alabama Humanities Alliance we are able to present storyteller Delores Hydock on Wednesday, July 8th at 1p.m. She will be telling about ten things you may not know about the Statue of Liberty. This event is presented to celebrate the 250th signing of the Declaration of Independence. We hope you will join us for this delightful program!
