In June of 1987 I took an oath. An oath to protect and defend the Constitution and our way of life against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I have lived by that oath from the moment I raised my hand and swore to do so.
We are approaching 250 years in which our Constitution has remained strong and untattered in protecting our rights. Our Founding Fathers wanted a judicial system that is strong in protecting individual rights. A system that was fair and equal for all, no matter their standing in society.
l believe in individual rights. I believe in the Christian judeo values instrumental in the formation of our laws. I believe in our judicial system.
It would be an honor to be your next Justice of the Peace. If elected, I would continue to uphold these values and continue to protect your rights and our way of life as I have done for nearly 40 years. I will increase the ease of doing business with the court, support local law enforcement and our community at all times. When necessary, hold those accountable when they violate our rights and laws.
Sometimes holding someone accountable can be a simple light touch, and others may require a more robust penalty. I am prepared for either, dictated by the situation.
I believe with my decades of experience in the professional law enforcement and firefighting disciplines, coupled with over 20 years of military service gives me a unique prospective that will allow me to adjudicate with compassion, fairness, equality, and most of all....common sense.
Thank you for your support.
