Months ago, in the interests of openness and transparency, I requested authorization from Mayor Jones and the Bauxite Town Council to begin creating a document archive that would be located on the Town of Bauxite website.

I was granted authorization by the mayor and council, and today I've finally gotten the opportunity to begin the work starting with Ordinance 1 of 1973. This archive will eventually contain all ordinances from 1973 to present, along with resolutions and other documents deemed to be of interest to the public. These will be available for download in the PDF format.

The layout of the archive will change over time as the numbers and categories of documents grow to include items of general interest, such as old newspaper articles, photos and more.
