Battle Ground Rotary Club

The Battle Ground Rotary club meets every Wednesday at 5:30pm at Galeottis Banquet Room in old town B Battle Ground Rotary is a non-profit club.

We raise funds to help with local and international project like: clean water projects, scholarships for high school seniors, Polio eradication around the world, trash pick-uo of our local roads and parks. These are just a few of our current projects.

Battle Ground Rotarians doing good by repacking food at the Clark county Food bank on Thursday night. We continue to try and improve our community because that’s what we do!

Battle Ground Rotary club at Detroit Pizza, having eaten three pizzas and one dessert pizza! We had so much fun just sitting around yakking, we really would love other people to come and join us. So come next Wednesday!

Battle Ground Rotary is so proud of one of our members, Jacki Elsom , who had a book signing at Hidden House in Vancouver last evening. As a life and business coach and entrepreneur, her book Mind Your Business is about changing your thoughts that govern your actions, often without you realizing it. By changing your thoughts, you change your business with breakthroughs.

For our meeting tonite, we will be at Detroit Pizza on their back patio, enjoying the cooler weather! We will postpone our service project of the corner of 503 and Eaton til better weather :-). It would be a muddy mess

Join us at the BGRC Meeting this week, to hear from Elizabeth Struchen, Walk Manager for Alzheimer's Association, who will be joining us to talk about the upcoming walk, and the impact of Alzheimer's to families.
We meet at Galeotti's, on Main St in Battle Ground at 5:00 for social time, then meet from 5:30-6:30.

This last week we had a really Amazing speaker, Ron Gladden, talk about the accomplishments that his organization Ourganda has made towards curbing the domestic violence, child s*x abuse and poverty, that is part of their culture. Through the use of peer pressure, legal agreements, and supporting agencies, they’re changing the lives of children and adults in 17 villages now hoping to get to 100.
