Dr. Elishae Johnson has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, Master of Arts in Counseling, a PhD in Counseling Psychology, and a Michigan Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Elishae is owner of Eudemonia, PLLC, providing telehealth counseling and consultation services, and System Director of Business Health Services/Psychotherapist at Bronson Healthcare Group, providing leadersh
ip to Bronson HelpNet Employee Assistance Program and Behavioral Health Specialists, and Sexual Assault Services. She comes with a strong background in mental health: formerly Community Educator/Therapist at Sexual Assault Services, casual child forensic interviewer for the Child Advocacy Center, Psychotherapist at LifeCoach Psychology, and Substance Abuse Therapist at Psychological Consultants. Elishae has a heart for philanthropy, engaged in many community groups and initiatives. She provides board service to Battle Creek Community Foundation, as former Chair 2021-22 and current member of the Board of Trustees, and the Impact Investment and Governance Committees, board member of the Battle Creek Area Chamber of Commerce, Values Priority Team Coordinator for the African American Collaborative of the Urban League, and member of the of the Bronson Community Health, Equity, & Inclusion team. She was inducted in the Battle Creek Central Hall of Fame in April 2017, and in 2018 was recognized with the “Woman in Business” award by the NANBPW, Bronson Healthcare President’s Award for leaders, and a recipient of the “Women in Business” awards by the Battle Creek Area Chamber of Commerce. She has provided training and educational workshops on trauma, substance abuse, interpersonal violence, equity & inclusion, and mental health in marginalized communities to many organizations, including local school districts, University of Michigan, WMU, Michigan Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, Prosecuting Attorney’s Association of Michigan, African American Mental Health Symposium (Kalamazoo, MI).
