We took a day to invest in the people who make LATAN's mission real.

Recently, our staff and leadership came together for a full day of training focused on something simple but integral to the work we do: every call is someone's independence.

We grounded the day in LATAN's mission and our specialized, person-centered the HAAT model of care that guides our service delivery — then spent the rest of it on the things that actually show up in daily work: sound judgment, honest communication, using AI tools responsibly without losing our own voice, and connecting our daily activity to the outcomes that matter most to the people we serve.

Grateful for a team that shows up ready to be vulnerable, ask questions, and hold each other to a higher standard — and for leadership that invested a full day to make it happen.

Every encounter is the mission.
