Louisiana Municipal Association

Louisiana Municipal Association LMA is the voice of 306 members consisting of 127 villages, 111 towns, 66 cities, and 2 parishes in the State of Louisiana.

The LMA Executive Board - consisting of the President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, District Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents at Large, Past Presidents (still in active municipal service), and Presidents of Affiliate Organizations - governs the LMA's programs and activities. The executive director and staff of professional and support personnel administer the LMA's programs and operations in accord with Board-established policies and procedures.

We’ve had the most wonderful few days enjoying the hospitality of Monroe City Mayor Friday Ellis and his entire team. The final event of our convention is the much anticipated Installation Banquet, where we’ll see our new President, City of Baker Mayor Darnell Waites, celebrate the future of the LMA.
