EMS Remembrance Day is a time to reflect on the lives of those who dedicated themselves to protecting and caring for their communities, often placing others before themselves. While we can never fully repay their sacrifice, we can continue to honor their memory through service, support, and remembrance.

We also extend our deepest sympathies to the families, friends, coworkers, and agencies who continue to carry the weight of these losses each day.

As EMS Week 2026 comes to a close, we thank every EMS professional for your dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to the people you serve. ⚕️

Today we proudly recognize and honor the EMS professionals who dedicate their lives to serving others and keeping our communities safe every single day. From long shifts and missed family moments to responding during people’s worst moments, EMS professionals continue to show compassion, strength, and resilience. ⚕️

Being an EMS professional is more than just a job — it’s a calling. EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, educators, supervisors, and support staff all play a vital role in healthcare and emergency response.

Today is the perfect day to say THANK YOU, recognize a coworker, celebrate achievements, and honor those who consistently go above and beyond for their communities. ✨

No matter how quickly EMS responds, community members are often first on scene. That’s why education, preparedness, and access to life-saving training are so important. Learning CPR or bleeding control techniques could one day help you save a friend, family member, coworker, or even a stranger. 💙

Today we focus on the youngest and most vulnerable members of our communities — our children. 💙

EMS for Children Day recognizes the importance of pediatric readiness and ensuring EMS professionals are equipped to provide specialized emergency care for children in every situation. From pre-hospital care to hospitals and healthcare systems, every second and every decision matters when caring for a child.

The EMS for Children (EMSC) program continues to help reduce child disability and mortality through education, resources, and improved pediatric emergency care across all 50 states and territories.

Today is a great opportunity to learn more about your state’s EMSC program, pediatric emergency preparedness, and ways to support safer, healthier futures for children in our communities. 🩺✨
