Today, Surgeon General Dr. Evelyn Griffin was honored to join more than 100 women, health care providers, wellness organizations, community partners, and local leaders for Women’s Wellness Day, focused on prevention, education, and building a healthier Louisiana.

Grateful to have Mayor-President Sid Edwards and his first lady, Beanie, join us in supporting women’s health and community wellness.

Today's event connected women and families with screenings, wellness resources, health education, nutrition support, movement activities, and community services — all centered around prevention and healthier lifestyles.

Thank you to every vendor, volunteer, health care provider, and community partner who helped make today possible. Together, we are building a healthier, stronger, and more resilient Louisiana.
