HUNTER SAFETY Classes in Jackson Parish:

Shooters wishing to participate in 4H Shooting Sports regional and state competitions must complete a hunter safety program and receive their Hunter Safety Card

Jackson Parish 4H will be sponsoring the hunter safety program 3 times this season. If your child will be 10 years old before
January 1, 2016 he or she must complete a hunter safety course if he or she has not yet done so.

Dates & Times for Hunter Safety
Sat., Oct. 3rd from 8-5 & Sun., Oct. 4th from 1-3
Sat., Nov. 7th from 8-5 & Sun., Nov. 8th from 1-3
Sat., Dec. 26th from 8-5 & Sun., Dec. 27th from 1-3

All classes will be held at Top Shot Shooting Facility in Hodge

You must register for hunter safety online at: http://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/hunting/hunter-education
There is no charge for this class.

Replacement Hunter Education Card If you have lost your hunter or bowhunter education certification card, you can print a temporary card and/or request a duplicate card to be sent by mail and print a temporary replacement card.

Chili's donating 10% of June 16th sales to Louisiana Wildlife Agent who was shot recently:

Please consider supporting one of our agents who was shot in the back while on-duty several weeks ago. Sgt. Scott Bullitt suffered injuries that will keep him out of work on a long-term basis. Chili's restaurant will donate proceeds from their sales on June 16th on his behalf towards his recovery. See flyer below for details. Flyer needs to be presented at the restaurant.
