🚧 Celebrating National Public Works Week! 🌉

LTAP recognizes the dedicated public works professionals who keep our communities safe, connected, and moving forward every day.

Today, we are in Lake Charles with Kent Hardin teaching our “Roads Scholar Class 13: Inspection of Local Bridges”. We support the hardworking men and women responsible for maintaining critical infrastructure across our local road systems. Through training and hands-on knowledge, participants learn how to identify bridge concerns, improve safety, and help extend the life of local bridges throughout Louisiana.

Thank you to all public works professionals for the work you do to serve our communities!

Its National Public Works Week!

🦺 Wednesday – Whatcha Wearing
From safety vests to steel-toe boots—today is all about the gear that keeps public works professionals safe on the job.

The individuals we work with through LTAP wear many hats (sometimes literally!) as they take on the essential work that keeps Louisiana moving forward. Check out one of our LTAP created resources on PPE commonly used for local public works employees.
