Bath Community Library

Bath Community Library The Bath Community Library is the first public library in North Carolina serving the residents of Bath, the state's oldest historic town.

Staying true to its historical roots as the first public library, in 2014 the Bath Community Library moved into the renovated Bath High School building. The library offers free Internet access, including WiFi, photocopying, reference, and interlibrary loan.

The summer reading program continues on Thursday, June 25th at 10:00am with a 250th Celebration Craft led by our guest presenter, Teresa Dalton. The summer readers will get ready for our nation's birthday by crafting a pool noodle into to a rocket or fireworks. Meet at the Van Deer Veer House across from the library at 102 S. Harding St. at 10:00am.

Today the summer reading program, "Unearth a Story" opened with an amazing dinosaur adventure. Bath Elementary School generously offered the use of their gym for the program. The summer readers had a hands-on learning experience as there were several stations set up in the gym.
