The Catholic Charities Steuben/Livingston Mount Morris Emergency Services team and Food Pantry is moving. To accommodate the move, our offices including the Food Pantry and Emergency Services Case Management team will be closed beginning at 12:00 PM (noon) THIS Wednesday, June 10.

We will reopen at our new location:
34 E. State Street
Mt. Morris, NY

Our entire team will be available to assist with Food Pantry, Case Management and NOEP services at the new location beginning 9am, Monday, June 15th.

We appreciate your understanding during this transition and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any urgent needs, please feel free to reach out.

Thanks to our community partners, and with support from Institute for Human Services, Inc. and Medical Answering Services, Inc, the CCSL Bus Token program was able to distribute 112 bus tokens to people in need of transportation help during the month of May.

Recently, we received a heartfelt message from an individual whose life was changed through our Emergency Services program after experiencing homelessness for two years. 👇

Stories like this remind us that your support does far more than meet immediate needs — it restores dignity, stability, and hope. It ensures that someone moving into a new home has a bed to sleep in. That a family has food on the table. That a parent has support during a difficult season.

And the need continues to grow.

Compared to this time last year, requests for Emergency Services are already up 13%, and food assistance needs continue to rise month after month. More families are turning to us for help — and we need your support to continue answering the call.

This Spring Appeal, we ask you to make a gift to help provide food, stability, and hope to individuals and families facing difficult times. Every donation, no matter the size, helps ensure that someone in our community has access to a warm meal, support during crisis, and compassionate care when they need it most.

Thank you to the Courier for highlighting our need for youth mentors. If you just a few hours a month free to help a child in need of mentoring, please reach out to us. Volunteers receive training, background checks and ongoing program support. They are requested to commit four volunteer hours per month; no special skills are required.

Volunteer mentors are needed for the Helping One Person Excel (HOPE) youth mentoring program, an initiative of Catholic Charities Steuben/Livingston.
