TOMORROW, step inside the Jonathan Hale Family House, known as “Old Brick,” as part of Ohio Open Doors, a statewide event presented by the Ohio History Connection!
Built in 1825, Old Brick was home to Jonathan Hale and his family and offers a unique glimpse into life in early Bath, Ohio.
But this isn’t just a chance to walk through a historic house, you’ll have the opportunity to learn the story of the Hale family while you’re standing in the very rooms where their lives unfolded.
We will be sharing the history of Jonathan Hale, his family, their lives in Bath, and the role they played in building the community around them. Come explore the house, ask questions, and hear the stories that bring the Hale family to life.
