❤️🤍💙 On This Day in History — June 11, 1776 ❤️🤍💙

On this day in 1776, the Continental Congress appointed a committee to draft what would become the Declaration of Independence.

A small group of people chose to challenge what existed and imagine something better. Change didn’t happen overnight—but it started with individuals willing to step forward, speak up, and fight for something greater than themselves.

Real change has always depended on ordinary people willing to do extraordinary things. 💙

That means there are still children in our community waiting for someone to speak up, show up, and stand beside them.

⚾✨ On This Day in History ✨⚾

On this day in 1971, the Oakland A’s defeated the Washington Senators 5–3… in 21 innings.

Twenty-one innings.
Hours of exhaustion.
Opportunities to quit.
Moments where walking away probably sounded easier.

But they kept showing up.
They kept pushing forward.
And eventually, persistence paid off.

Sometimes life feels like the 21st inning—long, exhausting, and uncertain. But some victories only come because we refuse to give up before the game is over. 💙
