This is yet another example of the generosity of the First Community Bank employees. This check is $2190.65 and was presented back in July. Thank you good folks for being so concerned about the well-being of our community!

We, at Help and Hope, would like to acknowledge the recent timely and generous donation of $3,500 from the Woodmen Life Outreach Foundation. Their local representative is Kathy West. This monetary assistance will help keep our operation open so that we can continue our mission. Thank you very much.

During the month of November, First Community Bank employees participated in Blue Jean Fridays and a Soup and Chili fundraiser to support Help and Hope.
Recently Jamie Moore presented a check for $2505 to Gary Anderson from Help and Hope.

The generosity of FCB employees is greatly appreciated as this is the second such gesture that has been extended to H&H since last September. Monetary support makes it possible for us to keep the doors open for daily operations.
Although we are a volunteer driven organization it takes dollars to pay the utility bills and other expenses related to the operation of a large building such as walk-in freezers and normal maintenance. Thank you so much First Community Bank employees!!

This article written by Andrea Bruner in White River Now was first published in early September 2025. A very good article that talks about the mission and history of Help and Hope. It also highlighted the need for ongoing donations of money to fund the operation on a daily/monthly/annual basis. Even though we are a volunteer driven organization it does take continual donations to keep the doors open, pay utilities, operate/repair walk-in freezers and general maintenance cost of the facility. We do get food donations from Arkansas Food Bank, the local Walmart and Kroger and a few other sources. However we often have to purchase certain food items.
While there has been a generous response from the community after this article was published we feel obligated to occasionally publicize the continual need of support. We have no source of funding other than your donations. Please refer to the attached article for more information about Help and Hope. Just remember it was first published in September 2025.
