The Batesville Market First opened in 1880, The Batesville Market is a historic country store selling freshly prepared deli

We are a historic country store, selling deli, basic groceries, beer and wine (on and off-premises), local and sustainable foods, local gift items, and hosting local live music and events! The Batesville Market is located at the corner of Plank Road and Craig's Store Road in the Batesville Historic District, near Charlottesville, VA. Constructed around 1880, it has had several incarnations, originally as the Charles Joseph Store, then for three generations as the Page's Store. More recently it has been known as the Batesville Store and the Plank Road Exchange, and is now the Batesville Market.
