Lexington County School District Three focuses on providing its students with personalized learning experiences that support their development. Each student is valued as an individual, and faculty and staff work to ensure that each student’s educational needs are met. Through collaboration with their peers and professional development, our faculty and staff meet the needs of all students in all subject areas. BASIC FACTS:

Lexington County School District Three serves more than 2,000 students in grades K4 through 12. The district employees approximately 350 individuals and has four schools – one primary, one elementary, one middle and one comprehensive high school. Lexington County School District Three is nestled in the western portion of Lexington County and also serves a portion of Saluda County. The district transports approximately 1400 of its students via bus daily with 17 regular routes and 2 special needs routes. Lexington Three covers 103.4 miles of Lexington County and the district’s boundaries go from Lake Murray to the Sandhills.

👏🍎 A huge THANK YOU to our incredible Child Nutrition Department!

Their hard work and dedication are making a real difference this summer. After just two summer meal distribution events, they have already packed and distributed more than 14,000 meals to children in the Batesburg-Leesville community. What an amazing accomplishment!

These photos are from last week's meal pick-up event and showcase just a small part of the effort that goes into making this program a success.

We are so grateful for the countless hours they spend planning, preparing, packing, and serving our students and families. Their commitment helps ensure that children in our community continue to have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer months.

If you'd like to participate in this week's meal distribution, join us on Thursday, June 18th at the Batesburg-Leesville Elementary School bus loop from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Children ages 18 and under can receive seven breakfasts and seven lunches.

✅ Our third free meal pick-up event is this Thursday, June 18th at the Batesburg-Leesville Elementary School bus loop (403 South Lee Street, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29070) from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

The program is open to all children ages 18 and under. Each participating child will receive seven breakfasts and seven lunches during each weekly pick-up event.

➡️ Families planning to participate are asked to complete the registration form prior to picking up their first set of meals. **The form only needs to be completed one time per family (not weekly).

Whether your child is a new student or currently enrolled in Lexington County School District Three, registration information and instructions can be found by visiting www.lex3.org.

On Tuesday, May 26th, the Lexington Three Lifelong Learning Center recognized ten individuals who earned their high school equivalency credential certificates during a graduation ceremony held in the new gymnasium at Batesburg-Leesville High School. Family members, friends, school board members, and district staff attended the ceremony to celebrate the graduates’ accomplishments.

Ten graduates were recognized during the ceremony for their hard work, determination, and commitment to completing their educational journey. Graduates included:

Batesburg-Leesville High School recognized outstanding students who served as Junior Marshals and Ushers during the school’s Commencement Ceremony held on Friday, May 22nd.

Serving as Commencement Marshal was Kamrin Coleman Kirkland.

Junior Marshals for graduation are recognized as the top six ranking juniors as determined by the South Carolina Grading Scale Policy. The final designation of this honor is made at the end of the first semester of the junior year.

Junior Ushers are recognized as the next six ranking juniors ( #7- #12) according to the South Carolina Grading Scale Policy. Their designation is also determined at the conclusion of the first semester of the junior year.
