Who We Are

Civil Air Patrol is a volunteer civilian service organization, open to men and women who are citizens of the United States, and are over the age of 18 years. Civil Air Patrol members contribute their time and effort, and in return gain experience in areas such as emergency services, leadership, followership, aviation, teamwork, and reap military benefits as well. Many CAP members are p

ilots or are soon-to-be pilots, but the non-pilot CAP members gain just as much through serving in leadership academies, ground teams, air crews, and many different support roles. What We Do
Civil Air Patrol missions include, but are not limited to, incidents involving downed aircraft, disaster relief, ground and air radiological monitoring, emergency transport of medical supplies, and training missions to keep us ready and able at all times. Our Cadet Programs include orientation flights, aerospace education, leadership training, and a regimen of physical training, moral guidance, and military discipline. on Thursdays at the South Campus of Northgate Church, 350 Bank Street, Batavia, NY, 14020.
