It’s not always fire and EMS calls that we lend a helping hand to our neighbors, last week we sent Quint 40 to Wayne Township Fire and Rescue to help get their flag pole repaired so that our nation’s great flag could fly high!

We’re so glad to have great working relationships with our neighbors, we know they’d be here for us too.

Earlier this afternoon Engine 40, Tender 40 and Chief 40 responded with several other departments from Clermont, Brown and Clinton Counties for a barn fire on Taylor Pike in Wayne Township to assist Wayne Township Fire and Rescue. Engine 40 laid in 1050’ of supply line to Engine 56 while Tender 40 and others supplied water for extinguishment.

Units operated on scene for about an hour and a half before being released. Our county has a great mutual aid system in place to send resources to departments when needed.

A few of our members along with Eastern Joint Fire and EMS District were able to attend a live fire training tonight hosted by Williamsburg Township Emergency Services. Crews were able to perform several evolutions of advancing hose lines, fire extinguishment and hydraulic ventilation while maintaining crew integrity. We’re appreciative for the invite and glad we could participate in this opportunity to train with our neighboring departments.

🇺🇸 Memorial Day 2026 🇺🇸

Today, the members of the Stonelick Township Fire Department pause to honor and remember the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

Their courage, dedication, and selfless commitment to protecting the freedoms we enjoy will never be forgotten. As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of this day and remember those who gave everything for our country.

We are forever grateful for their service and sacrifice.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Honor Ride Returns to Stonelick Township – Supporting Our Nation’s Veterans

The Stonelick Township Fire Department is honored to once again welcome the Cincinnati Cycle Club’s Honor Ride as it begins right here in Stonelick Township.

This annual event brings cyclists together in support of Honor Flight Tri-State, helping raise funds to provide veterans with an unforgettable trip to Washington, D.C., at no cost to them. These trips allow our veterans to visit the memorials dedicated to their service and sacrifice while receiving the recognition they have earned.

As riders travel throughout our community, we ask motorists and residents to help ensure a safe and successful event by:

• Remaining alert and watching for cyclists on the roadway
• Allowing extra space when passing bicycles
• Obeying all traffic laws and posted directions
• Offering encouragement and support to participants along the route

Together, we ride to remember, honor, and support those who served. 🇺🇸🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🇺🇸
