Pool Will Open Saturday May 28th.

Swimming is one of the many joys of summer, and we hope you're able to make good use of the association's pool. While we want to make sure all our residents and guests have fun in and around the water, our top priority is safety. Please take note of the association pool rules and follow them to help keep everyone safe.

Pool rules promote safety, but safety is largely up to you: it's important to take precautions and be prepared for emergencies.

 Make sure you and your family know how to swim properly.
 Even with the Lifeguards there; always supervise children while they're around the pool, no matter how well they can swim. It only takes one misstep for someone to get hurt.
 Listen to the Lifeguards. They are there to help keep the environment safe and friendly.

There's plenty of fun to be had at the pool and knowing how to stay safe in the water will help make this a great summer. For more safety tips, go to www.poolsafely.gov.

School Days have reduced hours.

Pool key cards were issued in 2016 and will work this year to gain access to the pool. If you have not received your pool key card or need a replacement, please contact Management Plus at (513) 772-2570. Also make sure your account is in good standing to be able to access the pool.

Always watch children when they’re in or near water, and never leave them unattended. Designate an official Water Watcher, an adult tasked with supervising children in the water. That should be their only task – they shouldn’t be reading...

As a reminder in order to use the pool you have to have a pool pass and be in good standing with the HOA.

You must scan your card to were the lifeguard can see you do it, and if you tailgate in with someone the guards will ask you to scan your pass.

Please do not a argue with the lifeguard as this is the rules they have been instructed to follow and the community as a whole must follow.

Renters need to contact their landlord about passes and Homeowners need to contact Management Plus 513-772-2570.

Owners can purchase replacement cards by contacting Management Plus.

Come and enjoy the weather at the pool. We will be servicing Popsicles, cotton candy, and popcorn from 3 pm to 4:30 pm as long as there are people at the pool.

There is still Covid restrictions that must be followed again this year. These are:
• A mask must be worn while entering and exiting the pool deck, when social distancing can’t be maintained outside of the pool, and while you are inside the lower level of the clubhouse
• Pool furniture should not be moved to maintain social distancing
• No guest
• You must follow the instructions of the lifeguards.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in access to the pool to be revoked.

Attention Residents:

Pool will open Memorial Day Weekend with restrictions at the current moment pending more information from the vendor and State.

There is still limited number of people that can be at the pool. We will be operating under the same rules as last year (no guests and mask while indoors and walking around crowded area) until we get more information.

No new pool passes. We are still using the ones sent out in 2016. Contact Management Plus for replacement cards if one is needed.

CHANGES TO POOL HOURS ON WEEKDAYS

Starting Tuesday, August 25th, the weekday hours of operation at the pool will from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. On Labor Day, September 7th, the pool hours will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. After Labor Day, the pool will be closed for the season and will reopen in May 2021.

Special Board Member Nomination

Recently a Board Member made the decision to sell their home in Willowbrook. We would like to thank them for their service to the community and wish them the best in the future.

With that being said, this leaves an open board position that must be filled rather quickly to finish out the term of the office which ends in May 2021.

In order to be a Board Member, you must be an owner occupant in good standing with the HOA and your name must be on the deed of the property.

Some of the duties of a Board Member are:

Volunteer a few hours a month.
Attend meetings (monthly and any special meeting called).
Read and respond to emails.
Review contract proposals, develop ideas to improve the community, field questions, etc.

We are looking to have a special meeting (following all the COVID-19 guidelines) or possibly a zoom meeting. The purpose is for the current board members to get to know you and for both sides to ask questions.

How long have you lived in the community?
Your address.
Why do you want to serve on the Board?
What experience and background do you have that would makes you a good candidate for the Board?

From there the Board will evaluate the candidates and make a decision. We will be following the process that is outlined in the governing documents.

Please have your intent to serve on the Willowbrook Board in by Friday August 7th 2020.

Pool Waivers. The lifeguard staff has been given copies of the pool waiver.

Filling them out there or turning them in will get you in for the day.

They will be picked up at the end of the day or the next morning and scanned to the management company.

PLAYGROUND CLOSED

As directed by the office of Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, effective as of 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2020, the playground at the Willowbrook clubhouse will be closed until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2020, unless the Director of the Ohio Health Department rescinds or modifies the Order at a sooner time and date. Residents may continue the use of the walking track around the lake.
