Alice Gustafson Elementary hosted more than 120 students and family members for the STEM & GRIT Night. Students rotated through classrooms to take part in hands-on STEM games and activities, while parents and guardians gathered in the gym for a thoughtful conversation on student engagement, helping children manage anxiety, and supporting them as they persevere through challenges. It was an evening focused on curiosity, resilience, and growth from both inside and outside the classroom. The event was made possible through a donation from our wonderful friends at The Batavia Foundation for Educational Excellence.

The wonderful Ms. Cronin has been nominated for Kane County support staff member of the year. Ms. Cronin has an incredible heart, knows all students by name, and truly keeps everything running at AGS smoothly. AGS is so fortunate to have Ms. Cronin and it would mean the world if you would be able to write a letter supporting her. You can submit letters to [email protected] . Letters are due by March 1st. Fourth Grade Students had fun creating inventions and learning about Geology during their CKLA units!
