We ❤ community! Many, many thanks to the Fox River Trail Runners for raising $12,500 at the 2025 The Fox & The Turkey Race on a very cold Thanksgiving morning! We know it takes a lot of time and effort to put on an event like this and we are so grateful for their support.

Due to frigid temperatures on Friday, January 23rd, the Food Pantry & Clothes Closet will be CLOSED. We always follow the school district, so when they feel it is unsafe outside, we follow their lead. We will be open regular hours next week January 27-30. Stay safe and warm everyone!

Thanks for your patience! The Clothes Closet will be open for donations again starting Tuesday, January 6! There is one small caveat; we are still PAUSED for women's clothing sizes XS-XL and infant clothing. We still have an abundance of those items (fortunately!). Thanks for being so supportive and patient!

Hey Batavia! Are you looking for a simple (and cheap!) way to support your neighbors at the Food Pantry and Clothes Closet? We are in desperate need of plastic bags! We encourage shoppers to bring their own bags, but we often need plastic grocery bags for produce, bread, and dairy/deli items. Drop-off hours are Tuesdays 8am-3pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8am-noon and 6:00-7:30pm, and Fridays 8am-noon. Thanks for your help!

We have one very full cereal shelf because of Batavia United Way and the students from the Grace McWayne Grizzlies Kids Club! Each year the GMW kids collect cereal for BUW's Adopt-A-Family program. Cereal that isn't needed for that program gets sent on to us! Thanks, BUW and Grizzlies!
