Established in March, 2012 as a non-profit P.A.C and a Non-Profit Organization. The board has evolved into a group who offers a unique opportunity for the young men and women of Bastrop County. The Bastrop County Young Republicans has a current goal to meet semi-annually during the Winter and Summer breaks of each year. BCYR supports but is not a chapter of the Texas Young Republican Federation. T
he BCYR is recognized by The State of Texas, Texas Ethics Commission and Internal Revenue Service as a non-profit organization and Political Action Committee! Our current goals are extensive and have grown to include, but not limited too, local, state and national candidate endorsements, broad and narrowly focused community service projects, as well as the development of informational videos and Facebook posts aimed at the average voter.
