The Bernards Twp PBA sends our deepest condolences to Jim DeCoste’s family, friends, and the entire Basking Ridge Fire Co. No 1 & EMS company. Thank you for your many incredible years of service to our community!

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Life Member James (Jim) D. DeCoste. Jim proudly served the Basking Ridge Fire Company No. 1 for over 50 years with unwavering dedication to our department and community. Throughout his tenure, he held several important roles, including First Aid Captain and Fire Captain.

Please keep the DeCoste family in your thoughts during this difficult time. Rest easy, Jim, and thank you for your decades of service and commitment.
