Today, we honor the life and legacy of Chief Anthony Barfield on the 12th anniversary of his End of Watch.

Chief Barfield dedicated 20 years to law enforcement and faithfully served the citizens of Barwick as their Chief of Police. A United States Army veteran, he exemplified courage, commitment, and selfless service. He gave his life while answering the call—passing away after suffering a medical emergency at the scene of a domestic disturbance.

His sacrifice and dedication will never be forgotten. We remember not only his service, but the impact he made on his community and those who served alongside him.

Please join us in keeping the Barfield family, the Barwick Police Department, and all who knew him in your thoughts today.

FOUND WALLET

A wallet possibly belonging to a child has been found and turned in to the Barwick Police Department.

If you believe this may be yours, please come to Barwick City Hall and be prepared to describe the wallet and its contents to claim it.
