You will need your Voter Information Card to show to the bus driver for your free ride to the polls, so don’t delay!

Getting to the polls is one less thing to worry about this election season. Through a partnership with the Polk County Supervisor of Elections, registered voters can ride Citrus Connection FREE during Early Voting, October 18 through 31, and on Election Day, November 3. 🍊🚌

Since 1971, Women’s Equality Day has been celebrated annually on August 26th, signifying the anniversary of the certification of the 19th amendment which granted women the right to vote.

Did you know that right here in Polk County, women in Florence Villa were allowed to vote in municipal elections before the 19th amendment took affect?

Voting is a right worth celebrating! This Women’s Equality Day, we encourage EVERY eligible voter in our community to participate in this integral piece of democracy!

Our favorite part of the Primary Election was seeing all of the 'I Voted' stickers being shown off around Polk County!

This year's design was created by Polk County Public Schools student Sara Vivas from George W. Jenkins High School. This was our first time having students participate and we are so excited to share her artwork with our voters.
