Have you ever wondered what goes into maintaining the infrastructure in the Village of Bartlett? Come down to our third annual Public Works Open House and see what the streets, water, and sewer divisions do on a daily basis to serve the community! It will be a great place to catch up on the projects occurring around the Village and experience what it’s like in public works on a daily basis to keep the Village running! Experience educational demonstrations related to the department’s maintenance and improvements of vital infrastructure with new technology and tools

The Bartlett Public Works Department is hosting an open house on Friday, September 18th from 2 PM to 6 PM. There will be food, beverages, and various activities including:

• General tour of the Village of Bartlett public works complex and facilities including the Lake Michigan water receiving Station and the streets garages.
• A guided tour through the water treatment plant.
• Touch-A-Truck with the public works fleet of vehicles and various heavy equipment.
• Demonstrations from the streets, water, and the sewer divisions on their work.
• A fun fact scavenger hunt with two prizes!

The Bartlett Public Works Complex is located at 1150 Bittersweet Drive just off Stearns Road. Come on by and experience what public works is about, hope to see you there!

Yesterday, our local heroes at the police department received a wonderful show of appreciation! 💙

In honor of 9/11 and to say a huge thank you to our Law Enforcement Officers and First Responders, Iglesia Bautista Betel Church stopped by with delicious lunch, gift baskets, and hand-made posters.

Openings: Permanent & Substitute positions available
Hours: Monday – Friday (School Days)
☀️ Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
🌤️ Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $20.86 per crossing post
