Important update from Bartlett Public Works. Thank you for helping our community!

🌳 Downed Tree & Brush Clean-Up Update 🌳
Our Public Works crews are actively working throughout the community to clear downed trees and brush impacting roadways!

To help you plan, here is the schedule for debris removal:

📍Tomorrow (Saturday, June 13): Our partners at Trees R Us will be out making rounds for the initial pick-up of large trees and heavy brush in the hardest hit areas of Beaver Pond, Foxboro, and Country Creek to make way for smaller brush clearing.

📍Monday, June 15: Street Sweeping to clean up roadways begins and will continue throughout the week

📍Week of June 15: Our Public Works team and Trees R’ Us will be back out for a follow-up to pick up the remaining brush and smaller branches.
✅Place brush along parkway
✅Place debris and refuse for Groot’s regularly scheduled pick-up on Tuesday DO NOT MIX debris/garbage with brush or it will not be picked up.

⚠️ Please ensure all debris is placed on the curb and kept out of the street, off the sidewalks, and away from fire hydrants so our crews can work safely and efficiently.

Thank you for your patience as we work together to getting our neighborhoods cleared! 🚜👷‍♂️

Congratulations to Fogón Mestizo on your Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting!

What a wonderful celebration filled with delicious food, beautiful ambiance, live mariachi music, and an incredible new mural that brings even more character to the restaurant. It was great to see so many community members, local leaders, and Chamber members come together to welcome this exciting new chapter.

Community Message from the Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those impacted by last night’s severe storms in Bartlett and the surrounding communities.

We are incredibly grateful that no injuries have been reported and that our community continues to come together during challenging times. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Bartlett Police Department, Bartlett Fire Protection District, Public Works crews, utility providers, Hanover Township Emergency Services, DuPage County services, and all first responders and village staff who worked through the night to keep residents safe, assess damage, clear debris, and restore services.

Your dedication, commitment, and tireless efforts do not go unnoticed. Thank you for serving our community when it needed you most.

We encourage residents to continue using caution around downed trees, damaged structures, and power lines, and to report hazardous conditions to the appropriate authorities.

Bartlett is strong because of the people who make up this community. Together, we will recover and move forward.
