Update: Bartlett wins 49-14 and move to 3-1 on the season.

It’s HOMECOMING night in Bartlett!

Our Panthers are back at home tonight as they take on Overton High School.

Before the game we also took time to pause and remember the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we are grateful to welcome the Bartlett Police Department Honor Guard, who conducted the Presentation of Colors at tonight’s game. The National Anthem was sung by a member of the Bartlett HS Choir.

It’s a special night for our Bartlett community, one filled with Panther pride, Homecoming tradition and a moment to remember the courage, sacrifice and unity that define our nation.

This morning, we joined the students and staff of Altruria Elementary for their annual 9/11 A Day of Remembrance Ceremony.

Through reflection, music and moments of honor, our students took time to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the courage and sacrifice demonstrated by countless first responders and everyday Americans in the days that followed.

We are especially grateful for the opportunity to recognize and honor members of the Bartlett Fire and Police Departments, along with first responders throughout our community who continue to serve and protect others each day.

Thank you to Altruria Elementary for continuing this meaningful tradition and, most importantly, for teaching our students that remembering matters.

Our Bartlett High School - TN Culinary Arts program definitely showed what they are made of today! When they are that good, you say pass the plate please!

Today, Ms. Denesha Wilborn and the talented culinary arts students put their skills to work, preparing and serving a fantastic meal for Human Resource professionals from several municipal school districts visiting Bartlett City Schools.

And they weren’t finished yet! The students then turned around and prepared lunch for our entire Central Office staff. That’s a lot of hungry people, and our students delivered!

We are incredibly grateful to Ms. Wilborn and all of our culinary arts students for the time, preparation, creativity and pride they put into creating a great meal and representing Bartlett High School so well.

This is Career & Technical Education in action, giving students hands-on experience, building real-world skills and preparing them for success beyond the classroom. And judging by today’s lunch, we have some future chefs on our hands.

We are hosting our annual Family Life Curriculum Preview on September 24, 2026 from 8:00am to 2:00pm in the BCS Central Office lobby.

Parents are invited to review the curriculum and provide public comments in accordance with BCS Policy 4019. The Family Life Curriculum is taught during the spring semester and is available year-round on the BCS website.

Tonight, we celebrated a team that gave Bartlett HS and our entire community a season to remember!

The 2025–2026 Bartlett HS Boys Basketball Team captured the TSSAA Class 4-A State Championship, bringing home the gold ball and etching their names into Bartlett history.

During a special halftime ceremony tonight at Panther Stadium, our state champion Panthers were honored in front of their fans and presented with their championship rings, a reminder of the hard work, dedication, teamwork and determination that made them champions.

We are incredibly proud of these student-athletes, their coaches, and everyone who supported them along the way!

A very special THANK YOU to our community partners who helped make this memorable evening possible: Bank of Bartlett, Brim’s Snack Foods, and Gibson Mechanical Contractors. Your investment in our students and school district helps us celebrate moments like these in a big way!

Congratulations, Panthers! You earned it. You are STATE CHAMPIONS!
