Meet & Greet this Friday, June 5, at 8:45 for John Pfeiffer, candidate for Labour Commissioner.

Representative Kane, former Representative Sears and I often receive request from candidates running for statewide office asking our help assisting them in meeting active voters in Washington County. We feel this is a valid request that will give them a chance to know about our County but also very important for many of you to have an opportunity to meet them.

To accomplish this, we are planning a series of “meet & greet” coffees that will occur most often between 8:45 and 9:45 am at the Arvest warehouse immediately north of the Arvest East Side Branch, 4225 SE Adams Rd. It is to be understood these “meet and greets” are not fundraisers and that neither we nor Arvest are endorsing these candidates by having these events.

This will be the last Meet & Greet prior to the primary on June 16. If there are any runoff races after the primary, we will try and invite the successful candidates back prior to the August 25 election.

I am so sorry to tell you that we will NOT be meeting this Tuesday evening. We will try to meet in July. So sorry. Do your own research and find out about the people running for office so you can make a very good decision. And most importantly, go vote on June 16!

05/28/2026

Our next meeting will be Tuesday, June 2, 6:30 pm at Bambino’s. You are welcome to order something to eat. We will be talking about the candidates and the state question. Several of us have been asked who we are voting for, and honestly, many of us still do not know. So, come and hear about all the candidates and also talk about the pros and cons of each. Brandon Dutcher from OCPA, will talk to us about the state question. Hope to see many of you there.

I meant to send this reminder yesterday. We are meeting tonight (Tuesday) at 6:30 at Bambino’s. Hope to see many of you there.

03/31/2026

I have been asked if our state reps are going to be at our April 7 meeting because of an email they received. The agenda leaves room for them at every meeting, just in case they are in town. They are in session right now, so the 3 of them will not be in town that evening. Sorry for any confusion. But, I hope many of you will attend to hear Earl tell us about the state question we will be voting on and for John Ford giving us some history on legislation.
