Today is the 16 year anniversary of Jane Doe’s discovery, and the anniversary of her death was believed to be a couple of days ago.

Amazingly enough, there are many people who have worked and are working her case who care tremendously for her despite not even knowing her.

Jane Doe will never be forgotten, and some day, hopefully sooner rather than later, she will be identified. There is no if, and, or but’s about that.

I would like to thank everyone who has followed this page and helped spread information about Jane Doe’s case.

I would also like to thank the people at the San Bernardino County Sheriff/Coroner, Barstow Police Department, and FBI, who have put time into investigating her case.

Bear with me, because this post will be rather long. I want to thank the people who have followed this page and cared enough to spread information about Jane Doe 11-10 online.

I created this page back in early to mid-2024 to give this young lady another public page that was not NAMUS or NCMEC. My primary hope was that it would gain some traction, resulting in Jane Doe’s potentially identifying information reaching more people. So far, I have not reached as many people as I would have liked, but I was very pleased when the Doe Network added the link to this page on their website back in July of 2024.

I have since become connected with the San Bernardino County Coroner and was able to meet with the wonderful people there. I had been connected with them for a little while, so it was very nice to finally see them in person. They have done an absolutely fantastic job at making sure Jane Doe’s case is being taken care of. There has been more behind-the-scenes work on her case, which has been very beneficial. Through them, I was able to find out that Janelle Sanger-Garza, who disappeared from Morganfield, KY, in late 2009, has recently been excluded as being Jane Doe by the Department of Justice through DNA analysis.

Jane Doe’s case is not abnormal in the fact that many young girls and boys have been murdered and even dismembered in our country. It has happened before, and unfortunately, it will happen again.

On February 14th, 2025, four days after the 15th anniversary of Jane Doe 11-10’s discovery, the dismembered remains of a teenage girl were discovered near Globe, Arizona. She was identified as 14-year-old Emily Pike, who was originally from the San Carlos Apache Reservation. Nobody has yet been arrested for her murder.

The fact of the matter is, even in our advanced first-world country, a teenager can be murdered by an elusive killer, and in Jane Doe’s case, be unidentified for years, resulting in police having to grasp at straws to find clues.

This upcoming February will hold the 16th anniversary of Jane Doe’s presumed murder and discovery, we can only hope that there will not be a 17th anniversary.

Today is the 15 year anniversary of Jane Doe‘s discovery. Police arrived on the scene of the crime at 2:55pm (Pacific Standard Time) 15 years ago today, it is believed she died 3-4 days earlier. She is still unidentified and has not received the justice she deserves. For people in the Inland Empire, please send and share her reconstruction image to spread awareness to her case, for anyone else, please send this to anyone who might be missing a daughter. A link to her National Center For Missing And Exploited Children page might be the best to share as it includes specific information and tools for contacting law enforcement.

The only post mortem images that were ever released by law enforcement were cropped images of Jane Doe’s ears and teeth. They have since been removed from Namus but are still accessible since they have been saved and were in the public eye. The Imgur link I have posted will connect you to the images. These images are for identification purposes only.

According to NamUs, 39 women have been ruled out as being Barstow Jane Doe. Two of their names are not listed, but the rest of them are. This is a list of the 37 named women and teenage girls who have been ruled out. Next to each name are the dates they were last seen or reported missing. I have also included a July - 2024 rule out by DOJ-DNA, which I was not aware of until recently.

On February 10th, 2010, the severed head of a teenage girl was discovered in an abandoned backpack near the intersection of Lenwood and Tortoise Roads, which is located off the I-15 freeway in Barstow, California. This specific spot is very close to a large series of truck stops, motels, and travel centers.

To this day, her identity is still unknown. The medical examination turned up factors such as a post-mortem interval of 3-4 days, and also the expected age range of the victim to be between 14 and 19 years old. Her face was not recognizable due to traumatic injuries; the extent of the injuries to her face has never been specified, but because of this, an exact likeness of the decedent could not be replicated. Law enforcement stated that the first composite images might not be accurate because of this.

Jane Doe is Hispanic, but recent DNA testing has determined she has some European ancestry as well. She had brown eyes, brown shoulder-length hair, pierced ears, and high-quality dental work.

The cause of death has not been determined from the medical examination, but homicide is still strongly suspected due to the disposal and state of her remains.
