Hats off to the Village of Barrington and a shout-out to Sarah Welcome for hosting another successful Touch A Truck event and including Cuba Township as one of the recipients of the on-site food drive.

It was wonderful to see so many families enjoying the trucks, reading time, and walking the pristine gardens!

Thank you, Gretchen Kozlowski, for organizing a successful food drive with Grove Elementary School 4th Graders, fellow moms, a 4th-grade teacher, and the dedicated Barrington Police Officers. A wonderful activity for children to partner with their parents, teachers, and police in an activity beneficial to the community.

Supervisor Chris Karam was on hand to deliver the donations to the Cuba Cares Food Pantry.
