Barre Kiwanis The men and women of the Kiwanis Club of Barre have served the greater Barre,VT area since 1949 with the major emphasis of "Young Children - Priority One."

The Kiwanis Club of Barre offers an opportunity for men and women to get involved in the leadership and improvement of our community, our nation and our world. As a group, Kiwanis can achieve that which an individual cannot do alone. Specifically, Kiwanis is a service organization. Kiwanis does not prescribe a way of life for others. The club often acts as a forum for men and women to share divers

e and innovative ideas. Kiwanis "Serves the Children" as Priority One. Kiwanis provides assistance to the aging, the less fortunate, and to youth, improves communities and advances international understanding. Through Kiwanis membership, individuals can give of themselves, their time and talents, caring for those with human needs. They can work for a way of life in which they believe, forming friendships based on mutual interest and shared joy of helping others. Meetings are held weekly on Mondays at 6:00PM to 7:30PM at the Reynolds House at 102 S Main St, Barre, VT.
