SimMan makes its first public appearance. We are spending the day doing hands on skills and Simulations. Training days are always great. Our Medical Director and District Training Coodinator have joined us for the day to verify our Critical Care providers and our Medics are performing skills to current practice standards.

Exciting News from Barre Town EMS!

We are thrilled to announce that our new high-fidelity simulation system has officially arrived and been installed!

In the coming days, our training staff will be dedicating many hours to mastering the operation of this advanced system. Once training is complete, we will begin using this cutting-edge technology to enhance the skills of our providers and ensure they remain at the forefront of emergency medical care.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our supporters who helped make this dream a reality. Your continued support allows us to push the boundaries of excellence in prehospital care.

A special thank you to our Town Manager and Selectboard for supporting this project from its inception.

Barre Town EMS has just completed the busiest year in our history, responding to 5,233 requests for service from July 2024 to June 2025.
We are incredibly proud of the work our dedicated team performs every day and deeply grateful for the ongoing support we receive from the communities we serve.
Every call we answer is for you, your loved ones, friends, neighbors, and all who visit or call Vermont home.

Honored to Support Our Service Members

At BTEMS, we are proud to have several military service members among our full-time and per-diem staff. This past week, I had the distinct honor of being recognized as a supportive leader, an award made even more meaningful by the fact that it came through nominations from our own team members who serve.

As part of this recognition, I had the incredible opportunity to fly over Lake Champlain in a Vermont Army National Guard helicopter. The event was hosted by the VT Army National Guard Flight Units and coordinated by the Vermont Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR).

We are deeply proud of our military personnel and the vital contributions they make both in service and within our organization. Thank you for your dedication, and thank you for recognizing the support we are privileged to give in return.
