We recently had the privilege of helping host a Poverty Simulator with SC Thrive, and it was truly eye-opening.

Nearly 100 people attended, and many individuals worked together behind the scenes to help make the event possible. The experience gave participants a powerful look into the difficult choices and challenges many families face every single day while trying to survive and support their households.

It was a meaningful opportunity to learn, reflect, and better understand the realities that many people in our communities experience.

If you have never attended a Poverty Simulator, we highly recommend it. It is an experience that will truly make you think and see things from a different perspective.
