On May 14, 2026 the Barnwell County Sheriff's Office arrested Chemar Treyvon Black after a extensive narcotics investigation. During the narcotics investigation evidence was discovered pertaining to dog fighting. The SLED Fugitive Team and SLED Dog Fighting Unit assisted during the investigation. Chemar Black was charged with the following :
