The Barnum School District is located in south central Carlton County in beautiful rural NE Minnesota, just off of Interstate 35, about 40 miles south of Duluth and the North Shore and 90 miles north of the Twin Cities. Barnum Schools boasts a majority of highly qualified teachers, a robust Community Education program, a school forest between the elementary and high schools, a supportive community

and small class sizes at all levels that allow all staff and students to be known by name and recognized as individuals. The town of Barnum is home of the Carlton County Fair, offers numerous outdoor activities and is close to lots of great entertainment, shopping and dining.
