Get ready for an action-packed day at Mashpee Commons on Saturday, September 12! Seaside Le Mans - The Race for the Cape Cod Community brings local businesses and community members together for a thrilling four-hour endurance race featuring Formula One-style European racing karts on a quarter-mile outdoor track.

The fun begins with practice at 11 a.m., followed by the race at noon and awards at 4 p.m. Best of all, the event is free to attend and offers entertainment, children’s activities, food, shopping, and plenty of family fun!

Since 2001, Seaside Le Mans has raised more than $9.8 million for Cape Cod nonprofits, with event proceeds benefiting designated local charities through The Cape Cod Foundation. Come cheer on the drivers and enjoy a day of racing, community, and fun—all while supporting a great cause! 🏎️❤️

The Cape Cod Commission has launched a new online survey asking residents and visitors to share their thoughts about open space as part of the development of the Cape Cod Regional Open Space Plan.
The plan will help identify and prioritize the lands most important for conservation, community values, and long-term resilience. It will also focus on improving connections between open spaces to create a more cohesive regional network. As part of this effort, the Commission will collect and analyze data, develop open space profiles for Barnstable County and all fifteen Cape Cod towns, map undeveloped and unprotected lands, and examine the economic value of open space.
