Today, Station 11 had the opportunity to assist Barnegat High School with their Project CRASH program. This program gives seniors a powerful and realistic look at the very real dangers and consequences of impaired driving. Through this experience, students were able to witness firsthand how a single decision can impact not only themselves, but also their families, friends, first responders, and the entire community.

The Barnegat Fire Company would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Barnegat Police Department,
, Barnegat First Aid Squad, Inc., Stafford Township Police Department Communications Division, Hackensack Meridian Health, South Shore Towing , our student actors, and school staff for their support, dedication, and participation in making this event possible.

Please be advised that this morning, Barnegat Fire Company along with the Barnegat first aid squad and Barnegat Township Police Department will be conducting a project crash demonstration for the Barnegat High School. During this time and you may hear numerous sirens as well as a hear or see helicopter landing at the high school for the demonstration. Please do not be concerned. This is a drill and should conclude by approximately 11 AM.
