Here is a throwback photo of K9 Chase Bargersville Police Departmenttaken by the wonderful folks at Morgan County Humane Society. As we are gearing up for our next course and scouting dogs for agencies, we would really love to thank the people that work in animal welfare.

These folks go in day after day because they truly care about their animals. They spend time with them, they give them affection and show them that people can be trusted. They get their hearts broken time and again for their animals. When an adoption falls through, when the meet and greet cancels. But they keep going. They fight an unfair and uphill battle - but they go out and fight for their dogs to get forever homes no matter the heart break.

Chase has a home, a family and a purpose because his shelter family cared and reached out. This picture of him perfectly captures his goofy and fun loving personality and could only have been taken by someone that truly gave a damn. As we gear up and save more dogs lives together, we just wanted to thank all of you out there who are on the front lines and making a difference in a shelter dogs life. As the saying goes “Everyone wants to be the sun to brighten up someone’s day. But why not be the moon to be the only light during someone’s darkest hour”. To all of you being the moon- thank you!

HUGE thank you to Advocates Against Impaired Driving (AAID) for donating a full ballistic vest for K9 Chase! This vest has the potential to save Chase’s life and I cannot thank AAID enough for their donation!
