The City of Bardstown Water Department’s annual flushing program is underway.

On Thursday, June 18, 2026, flushing will occur in the area North-East of Bardstown along Old Bloomfield Rd, Stoner Rd and Kentoworthe Dr.

During flushing, customers in these areas may experience discolored water or air in the lines. Please allow your faucet to run for a few minutes to clear any sediment particles and air bubbles that may have been trapped in your service lines.

The Bardstown Water Department would like to thank its customers for their cooperation during this maintenance program. Routine flushing is very important for maintaining quality drinking water.

If discoloration continues, please contact City Hall at 502-348-5947.

On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, flushing will occur in and around the Eastland, Creekwood, Oakwood, Whispering Oaks and Presidential Estates Subdivisions on the following Streets (Please note that all streets in these areas could be affected):

• Countryside Dr
• Keeneland Dr
• Eastland Dr
• McDonald Dr
• Glenview Dr
• Haverly Dr
• Allie Ct.
• Andrea Ct.
• Thruway Dr.
• Whispering Oak Loop
• Kennedy Ave.
• Oakwood Dr

On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, flushing will occur in the Stephen Foster Industrial Park, Pineview and Sunset Village East subdivisions and around the Nelson County Highschool on the following Streets (Please note that all streets in these areas could be affected):

• Pennebaker Ave
• Buchanan Blvd
• Hayden Ave
• Caney Fork
• Lala Lane
• Caroline Ct
• Scotch Ct
• Evergreen Ct

On Monday, June 15, 2026, flushing will occur along Bloomfield Rd, Filiatreau Ln and Spencer Mattingly Ln. (Please note that all streets in these areas could be affected):

• Bloomfield Rd
• Buchanan Blvd
• Pennebaker Ave
• Filiatreau Ln
• Woodlawn Rd
• Spencer Mattingly
• Parrish Blvd
