McNeils Crossing campgrounds and canoe rentals we are open 7 days a week all year. we have a primitive campsite in progress and another campsite with water and electricity.

we also have canoe rentals and fishing along the cumberland river or in our pond. McNeil's Crossing is a State Historic Site consisting of 70 acres nestled in the bend of the Cumberland River with buildings dating back to the mid 1800s. At the Crossing there is an ice house that was built in 1832, a farm house from 1872, plus a blacksmith shop and coffin shop dating to the 1840's. Take a walk thro

ugh the historic farm along access lanes enclosed with split crooked rail and double post rail fences, and visit the beautiful cantilever barn of hewn yellow poplar and chestnut logs.
