A job well done! More than 134 pounds of unused and expired prescription drugs were collected by Magic City Kiwanians on Saturday. In cooperation with the Barberton Police Department and the Barberton Community Foundation, MCK members took part in the annual Drug Take Back Day. The work is part of a national initiative aimed at providing a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs. It encourages the public to safely and anonymously dispose of expired, unused, or unnecessary medications at designated collection sites, helping to reduce prescription drug misuse and prevent accidental overdoses and poisonings.

Howdy Magic City Kiwanians and baseball fans,

Our Magic City Kiwanis Day for Akron Rubber Ducks baseball will be Thursday, September 3rd. A portion of all the tickets we buy or sell will come back to the club as a mini fundraiser. Avoiding Cyber Scams 101

Good morning Magic City Kiwanians,

Eagle Scout candidate Jack Schenkenberger presented an overview of his "Scam Safety 101" project as part of our April 8 meeting. His project is nearing completion.
