NOTE: Barberton Municipal Court to Close in Observance of Total Eclipse on April 8

In anticipation of the rare celestial event, the Barberton Municipal Court announces its closure on April 8, 2024, to allow employees and community members to witness the total eclipse safely and enjoy this awe-inspiring phenomenon.

The closure of the court on April 8 will ensure the safety and well-being of our staff and visitors, as well as provide an opportunity for everyone to experience the eclipse without interruption. We encourage all residents of Barberton and surrounding areas to take this opportunity to witness the eclipse and marvel at the wonders of our universe.

Normal court operations will resume on April 9, 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause and appreciate your understanding as we celebrate this extraordinary event.

Greetings! The Barberton Municipal Court is **OPEN** until 1:00pm on Friday, December 8, 2023. The Court and Clerk are closing at 1:00pm for the mandatory employee training but will be open for our scheduled morning proceedings. Thank you.

One more root took hold during the 1990s for Victim Assistance Program! As a result of overwhelming community support, the first full-time victim advocate for Barberton Municipal Court was hired in 1998! We were able to celebrate 20 years of service to the Barberton community in 2018.
