The Banks Community Volunteer Fire Department is proud to be a part of the GET ALARMED ALABAMA program. This program offers smoke detectors to citizens that do not have them in their homes. We would like to encourage you that if you do not have a smoke detector to please call our non emergency number at 334-905-0200 and leave a message and we will contact you and setup a time to come out and install your smoke detector. You can also email us at [email protected]. The detectors are provided at no cost to the citizens of our community. Again the program is provided to you at no cost to you so if you don’t have a smoke alarm please call and get alarmed.

Clocks Fall back Sunday November 3 please remember to not only set your clocks back but also change your smoke detector batteries 🔋 and check your home extinguisher pressure.

The Banks Community Volunteer Fire Department enjoyed being apart of the k4 fun day at Banks School this morning Chief DuBose and Assistant Chief Barbaree enjoyed visiting with the students this morning. Thank you to Banks School for allowing us to be there.

The Banks Community Volunteer Fire Departments 2024 Mailout fundraiser is going out in the mail today we would like to thank all of you who have supported us in the past and ask that you continue your support this year. We are actively involved in training and have ISO coming in late December early January. Any support will directly go to training and equipment to help make sure we maintain your classification of 4/4x and try to improve upon it. We would also like to ask you our community to consider joining our department we have a lot of exciting things going on in 2024-2025. Please call Chief Jake DuBose at 3344619106, Asst. Firemanship Essentials 1
April 22, 2024 - May 18, 2024

Firemanship Intermediate 2
June 3, 2024 - June 29, 2024
